BADD AZZ SISTA

Jill Scott gave us life last night in Dallas.. She taught us about being true to oneself.. She taught us history, then she sung us naked!! Jill Scott came back and sung to us in another language (Spanish) I was so excited that hell I didn't want to leave.. Thanks Jill may God continue to bless you so you can continue to bless us. Your body is like an instrument you play it from your head down to your feet.. Bravo Jill Scott and the Pikes , Bravo..

FIRE!!!

Jill Scott was FIRE at MGM National Harbor Saturday nigh! I love, love, love her. Her music speaks to and stirs my mind, body, spirit and soul! Second time seeing her. I splurged to go see her this second time and I would do it again in a heartbeat! I was in balcony and the view was great, the acoustics in the theatre are awesome and I just totally enjoyed myself!

ABSOLUTELY MAHHHHVOLOUS!

I've seen Jilly from Philly in concert before and knew her performance at Foxwoods was going to be a sure shot. A live band, a live audience, and a talented songstress, makes for a spectacular night!

"THE REAL THING"

The vibe was Awesome! My husband and I drove 2.5 hrs to experience "Jill"...(front row seating) , whom I have been drawing to for well over a decade and we were both moved by her performance! She graced us with her powerful voice, beautiful lyrics and her powerful experiences and Truths!!! I was able to give a member of her stage family a beautiful pencil drawing of Jill...just wanted to give back to someone who has inspired me for so many years of my life. Thank you Jill ❤️

WHAT MORE CAN I SAY...

The lighting was fantastic, each song had its own light show and it was top notch. The band and backup was perfect, neat, clean and excellent musicians. You got the hip hop the soul and I even thought I heard some early Prince influences. Finally the Queen; she sang to us and talked to us and danced with us and if you were sitting on the floor close enough she looked you in the eye. Damn Diva Queen can have all my money. Jill is the best.

FIRST TIME LOVED IT

Saw Jill Scott for first time. I've always been a fan. Opening act rubbed some ppl the wrong way, saying what's up Mfs wasn't cool What cause you in the D you think we ain't got class? Other than her, Jill was excellent. I knew she could sing but dang she saannng. She's so beautiful and talented , I would pay to see her again and usually once I've seen you once I'm done.

JILL SCOTT JULY 7 FOX THEATER ATL

Jilly from Philly will forever remain one of GOD’s sweetest gifts and a 10 Star performer. She mentioned that she has been performing in ATL for 18 years. I have enjoyed her voice, poetry, passion and honesty for all of them. My first born daughter grew up listening to her mom and dad jam Jilly in the car like our parents did with 70’s and 80’s soul jams. She loves Jill’s music. I strongly considered bringing her to the concert as my wife and I had an extra ticket however she could not get her shift covered. I’m so thankful that she didn’t attend her first JS concert and be exposed to the pure trash opening act. I was embarrassed for Jill to hear such vulgarity and gutter foolishness at her show. Jill eloquently stated that she is human and she is going to do some wrong and do some right. Her decision to let this regular, first day out, gutter trash near her stage, microphone and audience was a terrible unfortunate wrong! The sax player on Peachtree would have been a better choice.

JILL SCOTT- BALTIMORE

Drove 4 hours for my 1st Jill Scott concert. So sad to report I was disappointed. I had seats in the balcony where it was sooo loud and hard to decipher Jill's speaking. I stood downstairs for the last few songs and found the acoustics better. Disappointed in Jill's raunchy, over-sexual, self-disrespecting stage behavior, especially in an era of #Metoo/attention on mistreatment and disrespect, sexually and otherwise, of women. You and your songs are beautiful: I could see your glowing white teeth and smile from the balcony! The flowing artful wardrobe along with your gentle moves, fun dancing, and perfect voice is enough to deliver your songs in the ways I've seen through videos, TV, YouTube, etc...They are so sensual and sexy just by the way you deliver them.... no need for the repeated fan use and comments about pushing up your 'titties'. It's slightly funny once. Becomes raunchy more than once. In delivering romance, less is more. You don't need to sell it the way you did.

MGM HARBOR 8 30 19

We love Jill. We wished for less holding the mic to the audience to sing and more of Jill’s soulful voice. Enough of the grinding and growling demonstrations with down and out, love rebuked stories. Bring us more balanced Jill that reflects the power to look higher, overcome and soar. Wished for about 30% more singing and less ‘drama stuff’. The fact that this goddess was not offered the request of an encore from her loving audience was very telling.

JILL SCOTT CONCERT

First I am in my 60’s . I wanted to see Jill Scott because her music and voice is fantastic. What I witnessed on June 30th, 2018 at the Mann Music Center was indecent, irresponsible and downright vulgar. If I had known that was the venue I would not have gone. My son paid $160.00 for that ticket. What was coming out of her mouth I could hear on the streets or in the work place for free. I feel like WDAS should have advertised the show as an adult themed show. I am sure there were people out on the lawn with their children. I don’t understand stand why with her stature and her voice she feels she has to lower her self to such a level. Unless you like hearing the trash that comes out of an Artist mouth I wouldn’t recommend her show. I reality wished I could get my money back. As for the seat my view was blocked by the tech guys on Computers standing up while working. It was easy gettiing from Mount Laurel Nj to the Mann. Parking was expensive $25.00 to park on grass.

JILL S. AT MGM AUG. 30

Jill is a great singer. Her voice is one of the best. The raunchiness, profanity & so much talking I could have done without. I could have gotten that on the subway for much less. I didn't find it entertaining at all. If it were just a little, ok, fine. She was too over the top for my taste. Next time I see Jill S. perform, it'll be on TV.

JILL SCOTT - SHELTER ISLAND SAN DIEGO :-( DISAPPOINTING

I was totally disappointed. The venue small. They had small plastic seats anchored together and it was extremely tight. Jill was an hour late with no opening act. She proceeded to talk trash using an extreme amount of profanity. She sang a little and talked a lot. At 10:30 p.m. she said "good night San Diego" and walked off the stage. A waste of my time and money.

RADIO CITY - 2/20/2020

First & foremost...LOVE Jill Scott!!! She is currently touring for the 20th Anniversary of her first album Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1. I have been rocking with JS since the beginning. I knew I had to go to this show. HOWEVER, this concert was nothing like previous shows that I've attended. The show started late. Jill cursed quite a bit which threw me off. She mentioned that she had some sativa (ok, she was feeling nice). She ad libbed and talked more than usual. I don't know. Am I just used to Jill's performance a certain way?? Was she just switching it up from the norm? I just expected a more high energy performance considering the occasion. One thing is for sure...Jill can SANG!
