WORST PERFORMANCE YET
We've been going to the Nutcracker for 20yrs. The last several years have been in Orlando. This year was by far the worst. The performers were off, the lighting twice had glitches, there wasn't live music and a few times the sound system glitched and once there was a skip in the audio. The performance was so bad this year that as a family we decided to fly up to the Boston Ballet next year instead of enduring another sad performance by the Orlando Ballet.

DISAPPOINTING NUTCRACKER
Not sure what was presented was the Nutcracker. Changes left me wondering what happened to the story. Lead dancers were not up to expectations. Many parts the dance did not match the music. That said, the children's performances was endearing. The Russian dances we the real bright spot. Hope for better next year.

WHY REINVENT THE WHEEL
We have enjoyed the nutcracker for many years. Sorry to say we left a little disappointed this year. Why change a classic ballet? Couldn't follow story line in part 1. Recorded music too loud and greatly missed live orchestra. At one point it looked like the music started late for the movement and the dancers caught up. I don't know if I like the new direction the ballet is going.
