Boasting high-tech architectural design and several impressive venues, the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts was opened in 2014 to replace the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center. Its biggest venue, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, can set up to 2700 guests and hosts world-renown musicians and Broadway tours. The center was named in honour of Dr. Philip Phillips, whose foundation (the Dr. P. Phillips Foundation), helped fund the center's construction.
