Having been to a few of Sarah’s shows over the years, I truly believe she was in the best voice, and best place in life at last night’s show. Through her story telling of what inspired songs, sharing bits of herself, it was a very intimate setting. The MSO added to her music, and her own talented musicians- truly creating a memorable, beautiful night filled with gorgeous music. Congratulations Sarah, for sharing your voice and talents with many over the years - and still being at the top of your game! 51 is awesome!

SEEING SARA MCLAUGHLIN
I worked Sara ‘s concert at the Riverside Theatre I don’t remember, what 15 yrs ago ... it was so long ago ... being backstage elevator operator I was privileged to meet her and her drummer husband I recall... I just saw moments of the sold out show due to haveing to assure that stage crew and the like got to there floors on time Last night at BMO Harris Pavilion I saw McLaughlin s in full in the 8 th row almost center...I thought every song was just beautiful and she was wearing a beautiful long golden camona for lack of a better word ... she was just dazzlingly beautiful as with her voice. I felt emotionally touched by each song never mind the lyrics... she urged me to seek out her latest albums... and continue to support her. Well done Sara McLaughlin... each tour is a Welcome...!!

SARAH MCLACHLAN IN PHOENIX
This was a birthday gift to me and it exceeded my hopes and expectations. It was a perfect evening - lovely, intimate and sweet. She played many of my favorites and I enjoyed her sharing what her songs mean to her. I played “In the Arms o the Angels” for my mom’s memorial service, so that was very emotional for me, but it really was just perfect.

WELL DONE
A great night. Sound, emotion, venue were all top notch. Saw Sarah for the first time ever with my girlfriend at Arlene Schnitzer about 25 years ago. Saw Sarah last night with that girlfriend, now my wife, at the same hall and it felt great. Thank you for the performance Sarah!

TERRIBLE ACOUSTICS
good performance, however the sound of the orchestra was lost in the venue. Would have been amazing in a decent venue.

SO-SO SARAH
Went to SM's opening night at the Wynn. Great voice, 3or 4 good songs, rest forgettable. Lot of fill-in with tiresome description of her love life, and do we really need another entertainer telling us that things would just be fine if we would only all get along? Applause at end was more polite than enthusiastic, and at the back of the orchestra where we were at least 25 people walked out early.

SELF INDULGENCE
I saw Sarah 15 yrs ago and she banged out classics, this time around she went through this whole divorced experience which as a song writer myself, i can appreciate the inspiration. But at the end of the day, it was tiresome waiting to hear hits from Solace, Fumbling...nevertheless all that was lacking was made up by her beautiful voice accompanied by the symphony orchestra

SO SO
I have seen Sarah perform 6 times and this was my least favourite of all her concerts. I really didn’t notice anything exciting or different with her using the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. In addition, her song selections were not great...seriously lacking in a lot of her classics.

DISAPPOINTING
I have seen Sarah perform several times over the last 30 years. I love her voice, phrasing and emotional delivery. However, this performance was not engaging. The effect of the orchestra was negligible so what was the point? Every time I tried to be immersed in the experience, she would talk at length and then play a string of songs I didn't want to hear. I left feeling I would pass on future performances.

DREADFUL SOUND ENGINEERING
We recently attended the SM concert at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto. Although we thought that Sarah delivered a beautiful performance, it was ruined by totally incompetent sound engineering. The sound level on SM's mic was so high that it caused painful distortions and an echo effect throughout the venue. The majority of her song lyrics was completely unintelligible because of the sound distortions. Further, the orchestra performing with SM could barely be heard and might as well not have been there for most of the evening.
Whether the sound engineering was provided by SM's own crew or by the Budweiser Stage, they did a really terrible job and ruined what should have been a marvellous night. Very disappointing!

SARAH MCLACHLAN ORLANDO
While her voice was impeccable and she provided stories and humor that were amusing, the lack of a band and weak set list was disappointing.

DREADFUL SOUND, DREARY PERFORMANCE
We couldn't hear the words of most of the songs. We complained to the sound engineer but he didn't seem interested. The Symphony Orchestra was drowned out by pedestrian drumming and boring guitar solos. Tedious self-help monologues by the singer didn't help. Many of the songs felt like fillers. More than $170 was wasted on two tickets.
