An hour-long Nutcracker suitable for all the family!
The Orlando Ballet presents all the excitement and kinetic spectacle of seasonal favorite The Nutcracker Ballet in an easily-digestible one hour-long show that's perfect fun for the whole family, younger audiences included! Known to sell out fast, the modified daytime version still has all the best bits, from Tchaikovsky's timeless score to dazzling costumes, choreography and even a towering, twinkling Christmas tree on stage!
Sure to also enchant grandparents, parents and quite possibly a moody teenager or two, The Nutcracker follows pint-sized heroine Clara, who embarks on a whirlwind journey when she's given a Nutcracker doll on Christmas eve. Much to her surprise, the Nutcracker comes to life and an action-packed battle ensues when the fearsome Mouse King and his mischievous minions declare war on the mortal realm. When Clara steps in and wins the battle, she and her Nutcracker prince journey to a faraway land where the Sugar Plum fairy reigns over a court of deliciously sweet dancing confections.
