In 2015, School of Rock was Andrew Lloyd Webber's first original show to debut on Broadway since 1971 and proved to be a monster hit with critics and audiences alike. The book comes courtesy of Oscar winner and Downton Abbey and The Gilded Age writer Julian Fellowes, while the score is a mix of original compositions and numbers from the movie. Those KIDS Rock!!!
I was at the matinee the first
openingshow because my kids and I
have been waiting for this show!! The
show was awesome my kids were on
the edge of their seats! My daughter
was glued to Tomika from the time
she read the Playbill. I usually don’t
watch a character so closely but my
kid kept watching so I did. That little
girl was committed to her character.
A great little actress....and then she
opened her mouth to sing! Grier
Burke stood out in this cast because
that kid can sing dance and act! My
kids also liked the stylist and
